the UTSM has some errors....
I can't load an old projekt "bmp not valid"
why?

I can't use BMP "stream-read error"
what? but other files work fine !!

if I use the install-function, no skin appears.
how do I change the location of the game-folder in UTSM??
otherwise I do install the files manualy.


I can only use Skins my self... the Bots can't...
what did I wrong?

Too many colors in the .BMP. Reduce to 256 colors, or do it all manually thru Ued.

nope ...even with 256 colors the UTSM show the same error.
PSD and PNG work fine ...but then at project reload, comes the other error.

I DL the tool from http://www.acordero.org the creator of the UT-skinmaker.

EDIT----------------------------
So I have to resign to the errors...
I can see my new skin in Player menu (looks good :D ) but I can't use it for Bots ...what I have to do?

Dunno why it won't work on bots... Make sure the MESH is one that's available for bots (For example, the U4ET meshes aren't available for bots)

It is the "Smasher/Devourer" model ...my Master-Bot "BigBadWolf" use this skin.
but the new texture "Scavenger" doesn't work.

I put it in the ini... but there must be another place where I have to add.

it might just be skinmaker being ghey. Have you tried it with a vanilla install of UT with the extra mesh installed? Might wanna try this. Also, do you know if the model has support for custom skins?

The Model it self already run for 2 years on UT ...I used it for my Master-Bot.
Only the new skin didn't work.
Also, do you know if the model has support for custom skins?
what do you mean? Is this possible??
Wait ...I look if someone hase already made a custom skin for this Model.

There is no other skin outside but the original skin :noidea

Aye, it might not support custom skins. Some things have the skins scripted into them (Like the Ammo pickups in Monstermatch)

Open the .U file, and create a Subclass of the PlayerPawn and Bot, and change default MutiSkins. This *Might* work.
