Idea: A llama player model for ut99?

Post by heliumcat »

Any decent one around atm? High poly?

Like this ^^ for example in team colors.

Would be heavenly, especially with voice pack + occasional monster version if possible. xD

Just wild ideas running in my head.

Edit: Maybe a hovering one without legs?

Those are actually Alpacas.
These are llamas:

The main visual difference: Alpacas have a "beard", llamas don't. ;)

I made a little Llama model with WIP texture on it, just to give it an idea on how it looks. A voicepack should be easy to make.
It could be imported into UT, but the only issue is that idk how to make a custom animation/skeleton for it (yet)

Those aren't alpacas!

This is an alpaca:

Note the bad dentistry and the way it peeks out from the backseat of the car... it's natural habitat.

So the llama model should have a separate alpaca model too bundled with it and both should have a legless hovering equivalent. :heaven:

What about the gun position though?

Perhaps a monster version of the llama's would be more fitting since they don't require a gun.

Similar to WarCow, except maybe a saddle with guns on either side?

Unless you want a bipedal llama.
