Gunslinger Skin

Post by [NBK]DxTrEm3Fx »

Hello Everyone.
I'm looking for a skin that I found the model on Skin City. But the site is dead so I can not download the model. Has anyone seen a skin like the one pictured in this link? I'm basically looking for a cowboy skin.

Wow thanks for the fast reply. What program opens the umod? Right now it's not associated with any program. I'm running W8.1 so I'm not sure if that's why the Umod in not working.

If you have Total Commander here is a plugin which can open umod files, or use UMOD Extractor which can easily unpack every umod file.

UMOD.wcx 0.0.6 UMODExtractor V2

It will tell the registry in Windows where your UT is installed and what Windows can do with all the files you have just copied.;)
Umod files will work again and open/install the mod.
I used it when I moved my UT install to an external HDD ...because I changed the Computer. I have now a slightly better Laptop.

Anyone know why this skin doesn't work on a server? Works on a practice game but will not work on the server.

Did you remember to enter it into the ServerPackages list?

Yes sir I did add it to the server packages. This skin also comes with a manifest.ini and .int. So I added the Group=GunslingerGroup to the server.ini as well nothing seemed to work. This skin comes with 3 .int files manifest.int, texx.int, texxskins.int, and it also comes with a texx.u file and the texture files. So it's kind of confusing which files to use, so I tried using all of them.

Under ServerPackages you wanna list texx & texxskins.

Ignore the manifest.ini that came with it, dunno why that was included. You already had that file, it's a part of a standard ut99 install.

The Manifest files are in ALL UMODs. Dunno why, though. Probably they show all of the info during install (version needed, author etc.). :?
