Thought I had a specific thread for this, but I can't find it.

Recently looking into using Loathsome's update to xbots, which would give me a larger list for bot setups... after I made a tiny edit of it. So I'm looking to making new skin sets and increasing faces to some of the ones I have.

I suck at making faces, great at editing them but I've got some weak points.

Can someone give this a decent goatee?

Credits are not needed ...but show a screenshot of the result. :mrgreen: ...I'm interested if I got it right.

Pretty good, I've gotta match the skin of the face to the arms but that shouldn't be too hard.

I noticed the goatee texture you sent back was only 256 colors, while my submission was True Color. Might account for the skin discrepancy.

This is a combo skin. Gotten from a TOS Trek skin, the Rawsteel soldier, and something else. Eventually I'm going to include these faces to it:

Ah yes ...I used SAI to draw the beard.
But isn't True Colour meaningless for textures when you import the skin into UT?

The reduction is a different, true... but it keeps a sharper color range to the original when I convert it to .pcx and 256 colors.

I edit all skins in True Color. Converting them back & forth while I update them.

I don't know if all of you've heard this yet, but Leonard Nimoy died today.

Due to the above content, plus some tinkering, I added "Spock" to the Mirror Universe skin earlier this week, so I've got that now.

I'd post the screenshot regularly, but it's on THAT map.

Still working up the faces somewhat, as they're basically photo edits I took from someone else's abandoned Trek-project. Problem is most of the human crew faces have a pink-base over most of their faces, as opposed to the more tan complexion the typical male soldier uses in UT. So, I gotta get them some UV exposure.

Yeah, sad to hear that, but actually he made 83 years long, a good age.

Now we maybe need an Enterprise map. :D Good luck with the skins
