This reminds me of another thread with a nearly same problematic ...it's too long ago, can't remember the name of the thread.
Try the search function in the right corner maybe you are lucky to find something.

I already did. I couldent find anything related to it. I'll double check when I can. Not at home right now.

If someone can help please let me know because I'm so lost. This is a mystery case because my class shoulent mess with the hud...

I am pulling my hair out trying to find spek of a clue.

Edit:no. Unless it's loading automaticly. But I also tried this class with a fresh install of ut. I'll take a look at this post real quick.

Edit2:nope. Let me run it down for everyone. I'm running a mutator that replaces the tournament player and it's child classes with my own. Nothing related to hud. So I have no clue why this is happening. Check picture to see what happens in game.

Since when is your Hud broken? What OS do you use?

Ah ...ok ...so you use a mutator. Without it everything is working normal?

Try switching video renderer, then switch back. It might, it might just help. Had the same problem too a couple of years ago.

I'll give that a try when I get home. But I'm not sure that is supposed to fix that. The logs don't say anything about it not loading untill I check the hud menu.

A look at the tplayer class doesn't show anything hud related. Just the little doll om the top of your screen. Plus my class is a child of the original tournament Player....so it should enhairet that if it was there.

save you settyings and ini and maby the high compress textures into another map and reinstall ut 99 again,or maby it yust what those guys say utpure problem.hope this helps :tu:

nope. Also changing the video render comes up with a GPF. so no software renderer for me.

Edit7844: Yeah no clue. This is some really crazy spoopy shit right here. We need some super scripters in here. Is this something we need higor for? :shock:

I want to work on this but I can't go any further till I fix the hud issue. As a reminder the access nones ONLY show up once I go to the Hud section of the options. no errors show up on game start.

PlayerPawn.uc class has at <defaultproperties> a default HUD class which is called in PostBeginPlay - (sent by server ? - see replication section).
If you went to screw these in your custom player you won't have HUD. I did not see any such issues at changing player class because I'm not rewriting any usual function except those needed ones else it drives in things garbled.
Simply authority should send HUDType to player and... if player-class is mooing it won't have HUD and... heck knows what else won't work.

Where did you get this code from? The stock code of PlayerPawn.uc has only 14 weapons (see here for example).

For the other issue providing mutator's code may help.
