I get the feeling that Higor isn't very interested in big corporational bureaucracy. Epic games is not what it once was.

How long do you plan to keep maintaining XC?
Did you concider joining some indie team?

They have some major block buster in their pipeline and UT is just a side project of 6 enthusiasts.

They would rather let it rot in the drawer then give it away (for money) and let someone else have success with the franchise.
GoW dried out but UT is still alive. Even now are all UT master-server running... try to play GoW online.
They don't want to spend much money and man-power into this project but they won't let it go neither.
