Uncodex online?

Post by JackGriffin »

Ferali was running an online version of the uncodex for UT source code lookup. It's died and I don't know an alternative besides UT-Files. I don't like using that one because it has frames you can't remove. Does anyone still have this hosted somewhere I can use? I keep that open almost all the time when I'm coding.
So long, and thanks for all the fish

Poo, the official versions are offline, and the web archive has not got much of it :(

People can generate their own and host it.

Hmmm. Perhaps the ones that are supported could be hosted in the OldUnreal site/wiki
It would seem a suitable place, and maybe Smirftsch could update the Unreal version to 227

Is this the version you're looking for?
(I realize it says 2004 but seems to include many things UT related)

This one has a lot of non stock stuff with 0 source-code, I don't find it very useful.
When I found that Archive RAR not so usable due to "\" VS "/" signs, I think this one can be simply copied in some HTDOCS folder from a Web-Server (I did this) and adding a link to folder, Index file being called automatically...

You can quickly setup a tiny Web-Server and add this content there. Try HFS or other freebie. In XAMPP works fine.

Great job, Sektor!
Mr. UTPe's original link seems fine, too.
This is a valuable tool that Jack showed me several years ago & I thought I had a version of it.
I added the whole thing AND the zip package to my site under the UT Development / Tutorials & Help section:

http://www.unrealfuzz.com/forums/viewto ... 4129#p4129

tested a few random packages & classes with no errors. Let me know if anything does not work.

I have room to host more stuff, just lacking the enthusiasm

That's wasn't really hard to generate... I have other things which makes me to think well... Some packages really messed up... if deserve efforts or not to be fixed (causing mismatch, but not crash...) :sad2:

Thanks for the response gents. I really like having a bookmark for the source code and I very rarely code without it open. Losing Ferali's page was a real loss for me. Thank you for the alternatives!
