Refering to a specific post?

Post by Barbie »

Is there any native support in the forum software to refer to a specific post in a thread? Until now I've used "&start=nn" in the URL, but that has the disadvantage a reader may not notice that there are previous posts.

Example: This URL points to the posting #11 on thread's page 1:

Code: Select all

url=https://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6402&start=11
I am thinking of something like this:

Code: Select all

url=https://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6402&ScrollTo=11

On the upper corner of your post there's a little white semi-square.

There's one on my post here to, replying to yours.

You just need to click that.
