This might just be the thing to get publics going on again
I would love hosting one.
Just got new server hardware toys for at home

Nice!
If all my years of experience with UT99 gamers and servers has taught me anything, it's that new players who get their asses handed to them on a plate almost
never return to the game; that's LOTS of gamers
unnecessarily lost -
monitored newbie servers are
essential if new players are to feel happy in a place where they can freely learn how to play and thus get their enjoyment from it. With some guidance, support and help from more advanced players, they can become useful, passionate, long-standing and committed gamers in the UT99 game community.
I'd be happy to monitor such a server if it were set up, though I concede, I'm not a UT99 server admin specialist by
any stretch of the imagination, but I could kick players (if needs be) if they're too good or just dominating etc or I could just suggest they join a server for semi-skilled or skilled/seasoned players.
iSenSe, if you're happy to host 1 or 2 servers (perhaps a newbie one and also a regular one) for the AMC 2018 maps and maybe set up a small PayPal.me link to help toward the maintenance of it, I'll be glad to monitor the newbie server for flair-play, offering skill advice etc etc.
Do we have any other volunteers to help with this? Server admins, server monitors, mentors perhaps, video content makers for weekly YouTube content, (no harm in pumping out content each week, right? Unreal editor content perhaps and help increase the player/map count somewhat, maybe), as well as perhaps YouTube or Twitch live streams of server games for a few hours every couple of days perhaps.
Let the world know more about new maps, short videos featuring great game-play footage of new players learning their craft with the odd small team tournament (for newbies) competition now and then too and of course to let others know about the still-played (and much-loved) UT99 game as a whole.
