invalid extension TXT

Post by Barbie »

I tried to upload an ANSI TXT file named "unfixable.txt" and got the error message
Invalid file extension: unfixable.txt
TXT should be a valid attachment file extension.

Yes, I know that I can put a file with ANY extension into a ZIP or 7z or whatever archive.
In this case ZIP would have been bigger than that small TXT file... :D Also I wanted the recipients to see the file name (and possibly the content) without unpacking an archive.

What did you try and open it with?

I usually use Notepad for .txt files.

It's not that it can't be opened but that it can't be uploaded here with that extension.

This is good... Because I open with NotePad(++) even T3D files...
