I understand need to migrate people off from older versions like IE6 and IE7, but this shouldn't be the case for current up-to-date versions

What browser are you using? Just curios. It sounds like you are misunderstanding something (Or I am..?).Red_Fist wrote:I dunno but this is bullshit.
I don't want ie9 because of that damned download manager.
I ran it a long time ago, it looks stupid, acts odd because of the GPU involved, and I could care less about watching videos, or any of this crap.
It is supposed to be "H Text ML" making things work with text, NOT suck ass, Silverlight, FLASH, macrmedia, shockwave, pludgins, addons, popups, make a plate of spaghetti and feed the pet ,and crappy Apple and there expensive crap Adobe, wait can't forget Java.
I also will never use another browser, I never use tabs, no tabs tabs tabs tabs, how lazy can one be.I don't want parental controls, and warnings and and and
The way I fo oops in private browsing just popped up, ,,,the way I got in here was to quickly click on forum links and somehow got past that stupid black screen.
I go back to BBS then Netscape and hated IE, now I won't get other browsers,WHY ?, just clog things up, more files more BS, more defaults, problems in certain websites, and a very low usage compared to IE.
I could post my google analytics and show you just how unused the other browsers are.We even have a Nintendo wii browser I see. aaaaarg
Now in google Gmail it's telling me to get a new browser, man this sucks ....................
IE8 is very slow and has security problems, and you can't use some newer sites / features proberly. Even worse: Because of IE8 users, many webdesigners have to do extra work to get their sites working proberly on that old browser, but sometimes with limited features. It costs so much time. It is like driving very slow with an very old car on a small road and then expect from other cars to respect that and just drive behind you with the same speed.Red_Fist wrote:ha sorry for the rant grrrrr![]()
Using IE8, win7 pro.
I could live with IE9 if someone can bypass the download manager and keep things the way they always worked.
I havn't re installed it for a while, I wonder if they made it better or worse.
Well what about Firefox it's not that difficult and fully customizable. You can disable tabs and use many useful add-ons.Red_Fist wrote:ha sorry for the rant grrrrr![]()
