Can these pupae eggs be spawned with dropper instead of the alienmode mutator itself and if yes, would the mutator's maxaliens function still count/work?

Nice ... but the Pupae should get also beefier visual-wise.
But I like this kind of stuff. can be used in a coop or SP map as well.

This is a great mod :-) nice little mutator.
Played in DM and they can be scored like normal bots, it is a way to disable this so killing pupaes do not count as frags?

Somewhat reminds me of Dane's Universal Soldier Mod: http://www.forum.unrealtournament.info/ ... f=13&t=192

Features complete new HUD and GameType. And you get only one weapon when you spawn, so choose the player wisely.

I'd imagine so, though I'm not familiar with dropper... but if that's like any other spawning-mutator, then no. I suspect the MaxAliens wouldn't work without the mutator. Also, it doesn't actually work very well with the mutator. MaxAliens seems to be maximum initially, but having played it on larger maps I can assure you after they start laying their own eggs their numbers increase exponentially.

The baby pupae, which is weird to say as a pupae is literally a baby skaarj, are so small you can barely see them at first. The adult ones are a little over half the size of a player. Or did you mean beefier as in muscular?

Haven't gotten that far into it as yet, but maybe. As with all mutators it probably generated an .ini file after I first used it.

By the by, at the bottom of my review there's a link to medor's original post about them. There's 2 other versions, AlienMode was made back in 2000 apparently, that're more recent. Possibly better configurable options in those.

In one of the BPAK.u files there's something called a PupaeWarrior, but other than that I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I used to play with this mod a lot, but I prefer the egg-laying spiders from Asgard
