Ghehe welcome and yes! UT99 is still alive. There are many projects for it (Singleplayer and stuff) but also normal CTF and DM maps. Just look around. Even take some looks in the mapping thread or other threads

Welcome, and feel free to enjoy in UT99 with the rest of this community. You can find a lot of things, tutorials, maps, textures, n other projects here, and also a lot of funny people around who can help you if you have any UT game / editor related problems ;]
