[ValiantKnight]

Theres been 10 years now since the demo that caught my and my friends eyes at our LAN. Tho it took a while before i started to play the game more "seriously". Looking back at the years that I've spent gaming UT99, i hardly call myself as a hardcore gamer.

Ive made a map (first and last one i guess) thats quite decent according to the feedback on cwlserver.net - http://www.cwlserver.net/detailmap.php?mapid=112

Ive also made a rather infamous video when at OP, showing off our leet skills - not. http://www.own-age.com/vids/5917

Code: Select all

I started playing UT when the demo rolled out. I joined my first clan
however quite a bit later, in Nov 2001.

Worst ever position at the ladder:

POS: LADDER: CLAN:
161/163 UT iCTF International Ladder CPUT/CPI/CPGUT (i had just joined
                                       them then)

Down the memory lane, way way back (pracc events):

Beating X with 5-4 total (3 caps by me) when they where ranked 8th in the
int. ladder and had beaten the number 2 ranked clan AE (Allied Enemies) the
day before in a official war. X had their strong lineup available for the
pracc vs us (iS).

Beating TGib 16-3 with iS when TGib where ranked 1st in the scand ladder and
where placed 7 or so in the int. ladder. TGib was a bit weakened though at
that point since a few of the old members had left. Cap mania.

Beating iN (instagib Nation) 4-2 with TF. Hugh bitch fight in irc
afterwards. :p

Noobish:

Beating BGK (Belgium Godlike Killers) in my second only clan match with 33.
We lost vs BGK the game before (our first match). Candy where a former DCE member that formed BGK and Ghandi where a former DCE player that together with me, Liquidhate and Crossfire formed 33.

* Try out. I decided not to join when I found out how much time they dedicated to the game :S. They where Scandinavian # 1 as well as International # 1.

In between Jan 2004- and autumn 2007 I and my fiancee played WoW.

Since March 2008 im back at the ladder with GoC - Gods of Chaos - and enjoying playing ut99 again.

Well thats it basically :p
