About time i Introduced myself!

The title says 'who are you' well, this is....

I have never introduced myself on here yet, how rude of me:)

I'm a veteran of UT. I bought the game early in 2000, and i fell in love.
The raw nature of the game was incredible to me, never had i seen such a thing. The first map i played was DM-Gothic
and i was in awe of what i was seeing, addiction came instantly.

I played online straight away, oh dial up i loved ya;) Long nights and days followed, played under the nick
Nighty for a looong time. I remember playing on the first ZP server, with the guy who made it. Zp was fantastic back then ;/
Showing newbies how to dodge he he, was great fun.
Played for some clans on CB made 2 very close friends, i'm still in close contact with now, 13 years on!
Then i started to feel like i was too old for playing games, and tried to map.
Its the mapping that keeps me coming back. I hope someone has had fun with them at some point.

Well, thats my UT history in a nutshell, here's the me part ;P

I'm mostly known as QuillioN (the name comes from a small dagger knife named a QUILLION, i used to collect them) in the UT sense, i'm an OLD UT guy....41 yrs!!
I live in the UK, i have a wife and a 6 year old boy, who loves mapping and has done two of his own:)
Interests are football, newcastle UTD fan, used to be a very keen golfer but things changed and i don't swing sticks these days:(
Music wise, i like any style as long as it sounds good to me! I mostly like R.E.M and Tracy Chapman.

I work fulltime, and enjoy it for the most part.
Well, thats it really, not good at talking about myself :/

Hey Nighty! Fat chance you see this but this was someone who played with you eons ago (2003/2004), probably as eNLiGhTeNMeNT. I encountered you on Jolt.co.uk's Facing Worlds servers a few times (I think you were in some clan called [Lord]?), and ran into you on Deck16 occasionally. I always appreciated that you favored the shockrifle back then; we played shock mutator a couple times, though my terrible ping at the time didn't let me manage moving combos very much. Hope you're doing well.
