Amazing to see there's others.

Post by Bitdood »

Hey there!

Name's Sean, I'm a 26-year-old Oregonian who's been an Unreal and UT fan for literally half of my life. I'm particularly still fascinated by level design, though I'm nowhere near being an established modder.

Quick rundown: I'm an avid video game collector/player, and sometimes review them on the side when I'm not busy in school. I also write for a local in-town independent publication where I live.

Thought I'd check these forums out and see who's still around. The UT community in general has always been one of my favorites so I peek in and out when I can. So far it seems like this is one of (if not the most) active community forums left that's devoted to each of the games. Hoping I can get into UT3 again soon (including level design) when I update my graphics card.

Anyhow, those are the basics. Cheers!

Good to see another addict back for more.

2 pages to check, for you.

At the top of the forum, you will always find a quick link to "Raynor's" tweaking guide http://www.ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=373
This guide explains the use of the new video and audio renderers etc. (even newer ones are being currently beta-tested).

"Your Unreal", has a 1-page list of every fix, patch, update and enhancement you could need.

(If it is missing anything, visitors add requests at the bottom)

"Your Unreal" is aimed the U-engine (rather than a game), so you will find a spread of resources useful to all.
http://my.opera.com/Unreal-Tournament/b ... -resources
The links page is an Unreal news aggregator, with more Unreal than you can imagine. Updated dynamically and still growing.
