Normally you can invite friends to join the server you are playing on. Or did they change this in the last year.

Avoid UT over steam at all costs. It causes waay more trouble than it's worth. Not only the fact it is just done so poorly. Get a patched EXE or find another installation.

This game is old enough that it wouldn't work right with steam anyway.


So port forwarding is the only option.

Well but he mentioned he has it only for steam. And I think all his friends as well.
But what SilverSound said... I also recommend a stand-alone version of UT.
