Just received the new beta of UltimateNewNet (v1a) from Deepu.
It seems the visibility issues are fixed!
Means that 436 weapons are fully rendered (with zrangehack=true) by default again.

Full changelog;
1. Added Impact Hammer new settings and restored to original damage values.
HammerDamagePri=60
HammerDamageSec=20
HammerDamageSelfPri=36
HammerDamageSelfSec=24

2. Monsters spawn with weapon, fixed for MH and MM.

3. Double enforcer fire fix.

4. Option enabling/disabling for NewNet announcer (2k4Combos).

5. Completely fixed weapon visibility error while viewing as first person.


And he is busy implementing the Unreal1 weapons into the next release! :gj:

I'll join tomorrow and test it.
Is the projectile error of the Toast and the Carrot fixed as well?
And how about the Rocketjump ability of the Salad?

He is not busy making FoodFight fully compatible with NewNet atm.
He might do that in the future, but i don't think he is going to.
He knows which things need to be fixed though.

Luckily 97% of features in FoodFight do work. ;-)
I've seen it way worse combined with NewNet.

Still the same graphic problem.
It can't be, that I'm the only one playing on a low resolution.

Yeah sorry forgot to mention a important thing.. i did not put it online yet, only on testserver.
When i toggled back zrangehack=true the weapon remained visible, when i did that with old newnet the weapon became partly visible like in your screenshot.

Maybe it was better if i'd wait a little longer posting it, but i was excited lol, sorry for that!

Will notify you asap.

Had to rule a few things out, sorry for that.
ONLINE NOW and Confirmed by @metalfist that he sees the fully rendered weapon with zrangehack=true
I've tested on 1024x768 as well.

My current graphic card overheat when I play on higher resolutions.
I still wasn't able to get my new machine to run properly. So I'm stuck with my old rig.

not right now... my newer machine has a much better card. Only the issue with its fans spinning like wild when Windows is booted has to be solved today.

Hopefully it's fixed on your end now as well (should be!)
Did you make sure your drivers are up2date, and you also have the same problem with a fresh install of Windows?
