I got the server assembled and loaded Windows 2000 on it last night. It should hopefully be working in two weeks.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I didn't fall off the face of the Earth.

Anyway, I had to delay the launch because Cablevisions incompetent technicians couldn't fix a basic problem. Three modems and five visits later my internet access finally stays steady for more than three hours at a time.

I'll launch it in two weeks! They put me on an almost unused, DOCSIS 3.0 pipe. Constant 15 down/2 up, and I'm upgrading it to 30 down. Pings are lower than all hell. It's fantastic. Literally no variation during peak hours!

It's coupled with a business class Cisco modem and a small business grade SMC Router. Get ready for some bitchin' pings!

medor i wonder if you know what vanilla means, cuz like in your first post in this topic you suggest he will use custom mods while he wants to use as less custom mods possible.
