Hello everyone,
I'm trying to find out everything I can about administrating a UT99 server. The info found here http://wiki.unrealadmin.org/Category:UT doesn't work for me.
I can log in as an admin from the console, but the admin commands (or at least the commands I'm entering) are not working. For example, if I want to kill off all of the bots I'll enter "killall bots" but this only results in an error of "'KillAll': Bad or Missing Property 'aclass'".
I'm interested in how to add and kill bots, add time, stop time, kick players, etc.
I can do all of these things via web admin, but I want to perform these functions within the game console.
Can anyone point me in a direction that will show me these things in detail.
Thanks,
SPS

addbots 10 (or however many you want to enter)
Killall bot (no s, you are referring to a class, not multiples of that class so no matter how many there are, dont add an S.)
any other commands you want you can get here.

Re: UT99: Admin console commands?
Have you tried the command: killall UnrealShare.Bots ?
But for Unreal Tournament, use killall Bot, and if it doesn't work, try killall Botpack.Bot

I don't see a way of adding or stopping time in a current game. Is this possible? I'm mainly interested in this feature for practice or training sessions.

Isn't there a way to stop the clock from counting down in a game so that players can practice? Or is that a mod that I'm thinking about?Feralidragon wrote:What do you mean stop time? I know just one command for that: playersonly .

Re: UT99: Admin console commands?
It is possible. You can set the property of any actor from console commands. You'll just have to find the responsible class and set one of it's variables to whatever you need.
For example:
set botpack.shockrifle hitdamage 99999
That would make the shockrifle's damage 99999.
set botpack.supershockrifle hitdamage 1
That would make the instagib shockrifle uber lame.
For example:
set botpack.shockrifle hitdamage 99999
That would make the shockrifle's damage 99999.
set botpack.supershockrifle hitdamage 1
That would make the instagib shockrifle uber lame.

Re: UT99: Admin console commands?
in webadmin set in "rules" the TimeLimit to 0 for practice that will be unlimited time and set frags/caps to 500, there is no console command that i know of.SixPakSuzy wrote:Isn't there a way to stop the clock from counting down in a game so that players can practice?
