Epic didn't conform all the international variations of Credits.utx to the default v436 English one, so players diff versions/languages will get mismatches.

It's best if you simply copy the map, embed the textures being used and rename it.

Thinking it twice, it's not the ideal solution because it doesn't work for all maps.
Let's see...

Put your server's Credits.utx in a link (or attached).
Put your Credits.utx as well, make sure to properly identify them.

I'll attempt to do a package conformation ( Goty Credits.utx > Def Credits.utx)
You'll then backup your Credits.utx, use the conformed one and try joining the server.

If it works then we'll host the fixed package here.

Joining from UT into Goty UT:

Success, the Goty Credits.utx is already conformed to vanilla UT's credits.utx.

I think we're facing a case of incompatibility with a data-stripped UTX file which happens a lot with S3TC textures, a normal GEN=1 credits can join, but not a GEN=2 one.
Replacing the server's Credits.utx with either a GEN=1 or GEN=2 Credits.utx should solve the issue without forcing any download.
But given filesizes and version, it's best to have a GEN=1 one.

Wait ...did you put S3TC textures on your server?

Doubt it, it's still the same case.

S3TC textures are conformed to the v400/v436 files, but they fail with the datastripped UTX from servers.
The fix to that was to copy/paste the non-S3TC textures into the server.

I think this is an analogous case.

Damn..... And I thought for sure my version 400 install copy had a corrupted credits.utx for the longest time but you are saying that 526kb is the default size. My hate for epic on this particular issue just went through the roof. Not happy!!!!

P.S. Anybody wanting my dubbed copy of v400 iso just PM me. It has the 436 patch included on the image as well.

Can you join the server?
If that's the case we can proceed in two ways:

- Get your friend's Credits.utx and we see what to do from then.
- Or jump straight into the solution (may have unexpected results) to bytehack a ServerSide-Only + NoSend flag into the package so it doesn't bug clients.

Hi. I got a credits mismatch as well. I'm using UT99 GOTY CD install 1 and not the 2nd one installed.
My server also have this map and I got a mismatch on it as well. I'm wondering if it have something to do with v451.
