I had a look at the stuff i got here:

In the GOTY installer the Credits.utx has a filesize of 1.469.607 Bytes
On my server i have the file with a size of 1.469.607 Bytes

The file in Your post
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=6217#p72824

has a size of 1.469.689 Bytes and is bigger then mine :D

And the stripped file is: 25.190 Bytes

This is a file from standard UT, and should not be redirected.
However, i found it on ut-files.com redirect, after decompressing it had the filesize: 1.469.689

Oh, what file do you have on your server?

You will find the same file (with size 1.469.607 bytes) also in the ut normal texture package http://ut.noccer.de/Textures/Normal/Mas ... s/StockUT/

I think all files sizes known have been mentioned. But to be most compatible with my MH clients we use the GOTY file size 1,469,689. Curious though.... I opened up a GOTY.zip that I got from a friend and the credits.utx size says 1,469,689 but "SIZE ON DISK" says 1,470,464 instead of 1,474,560.

Sigh... you're not answering the big question here...
Noccer's Credits.utx link contains a GOTY Credits.utx that isn't conformed to the v400 one.
It basically has a single generation (instead of two).

It also has a different GUID.
I suppose this is the file the other GOTY players have.

Meh, screw it, let's go for the second choice here, have a v400 hacked Credits.utx

So are you saying that this hacked credits.utx will work for my MH server and none of my clients will get a mismatch on MH maps that use credits.utx

Yes.
It's has the 'AllowDownload' flag removed, and 'ServerSideOnly' flag added.
The server will never ask for Credits.utx.

Just for reference I'm adding this unrealadmin thread concerning skating players which was because of the S3TC textures clients used on the 2nd UT install CD back in the day. I notice i had it on the redirect so i delited that, is there maps depending on it or can it even be delited from the server ?

By using a simple tool like wingrep or some File Commander you can look for string "Credits" in all UNR files, that simple. Move them away and flush them - done.

Who knows what map files you might have for listing them ? Also you can proceed to remove crap files like Engine.utx, Botpack.uax because are USELESS from those archives hosted at a moment and politely ask your admins/file_managers to die in a long and painful death as you mentioned in a post before. Else I can ignore these mismatching farts and I will keep fixing stuff without to care about player's dizziness about un-caching files collected even if they have no clue what stuff is in that folder causing pain by themselves to themselves being busily engaged in an endless self damaging quest.

Credits has a version provided by Higor which will never be a pain - simple as pie.

The rest of admin featured "works"
Everyone having a server should remove stock files from redirect - ALL UT Player should have these except those with hacked ILLEGAL distributed versions. I have removed some flags from my stock files because too many of those sounds from maps were never audible ON-LINE and I got tired of this sh!t and now they do work properly, everyone can hear taunts assigned to SpecialEvent actors which were audible only OFF-LINE and NO VERSION MISMATCH is returned as well as those borked craps UTX files with texture "byte material not found" - the same without Mismatch version errors.

Easy stuff to fix this map :

Use the "replace texture" function, select the credit texture used in it (a small black texture...) and replace by another, a black one or a red one, the texture is not visible in the map.

Rebuild, rename.

If u use a public redirection, and cannot add your file, for sure I think this edit exists, search for a renammed cybrosis and check if this is fixed. Use this version on your server !
