Changing Game speed on a server?

In some servers, i've noticed you run faster, and the gun shoots slightly faster aswell, once you change the game speed on a server.


But my question is, how do you change the game speed? Or am i entirely confused?

Thing is i'm currently working on rebooting an old clan server, i got all the old clan related stuff compiled and ready to go but i remembered back then, that the game speed was slightly faster overall...


Any help would be appreciated, i apologize if i come out too noobie x)

what is your starting command line? are you using mapvote?

at the end of mapvote or starting line try omething like this

Settings="GameSpeed=1.25,AirControl=0.35,goalteamscore=10,TimeLimit=15"

I have MapVoteLA13 on the server yes.

Another noobie question: Where should i place the command line?
Also where do i see the starting command line on my server setup?

really depends on your host. here is a sample mapvote config for you

Hvis du ønsker at sætte den hastighed vi kørte med dengang så skal du sætte GameSpeed=1.10 (10% hurtigere end default). Du kan gøre dette enten i unrealtournament.ini for hver enkelt gamestyle, men du kan også gøre det fra webadmin interfacet hvis du syntes dette er nemmere, så skal du kigge under server settings. Mapvote er også en mulighed, men så spreder du bare dine settings ud over flere filer - keep it simple
