Perhaps it's obvious but maybe it's worth noting that XlocTossForce=830 is the default value for the Translocator and so a higher value is requred to 'throw' the disc further - something over 1000 is useful - 1200 enables me to get to the top of a lot of the higher buildings in maps like ConcreteJungle and DerelictCity and to move around relatively easily at rooftop level.

So, yeah, this is a pretty cool addition :tu:

I'm trying to join the fnn ut99 server rx9 rw3, but it's passworded, any idea what the password is?

XBrowser reports that there are no Players on any of the |FNN| servers (can't verify if that is correct or not) - interestingly there are 'people' with the same name playing in three different games on those servers simultaneously - make of that what you will.

Yeah, I saw that thread and have been observing the |FNN| servers with interest since then - don't think I have ever seen any Players on them - though why they should be now locked is curious. One thing's for sure though - when they're not running, the 'player' numbers overall drop dramatically.

Yeah, that's a reasonable estimate of the average number of Players on a good day in public servers - of course, the caveat to that is that is the number at any one time so, overall, the total number of online players will be much higher than that. But, true enough, the numbers have come down quite a bit in recent years; as have the number of servers. Quite a few servers never seem to be populated.

The upside is that possibly the decline in the online player base has bottomed out so that it is now small but dedicated and so a few good servers continue to be populated at most times?
