Community Weapons Compilation (Join in!)

Just like beyondunreal forums did, a bunch of weapons and other stuff made by the community. Could it be possible? :roll:

The weapons plan

Notes:
-Slots 1a, 1b and 4b are optional.
-If there's no slot 1b weapon, it'll be replaced ingame by slot 1a.

Slot 1a (replaces impact hammer): ...
Slot 1b (replaces chainsaw): ...
(Better not replace the translocator)
Slot 2 (replaces enforcer): ...
Slot 3 (replaces biorifle): ...
Slot 4a (replaces shock rifle): ...
Slot 4b (replaces instagib): ...
Slot 5 (replacess pulsegun): ...
Slot 6 (replaces ripper): ...
Slot 7 (replaces minigun): ...
Slot 8 (replaces flak cannon): ...
Slot 9 (replaces rocket launcher): ...
Slot 10a (replaces sniper rifle): ...
Slot 10b (replaces redeemer): ...

The rules:

Each member should post the contributions into a zip package, containing the *.u file for the weapon and all its content, and a *.txt one containing any useful information about the weapon itself, and also (and this one is important) a detailed description of the weapons characteristics, the following is an example of how it should be done:

Nütek industries' Isonomic Mag Pulsor
Type: Plasma
Ammo: Hi-density electrically charged xenon cores
Description: A simple defensive weapon developed by Nütek. Uses isonomically compressed xenon charges to release projectiles of plasma at the enemy.
Primary fire: Long range plasma bullets.
Secondary fire: Short range steam of xenon gas.
Techniques: The secondary fire may be used for retreating, as it pushes enemies away. Two of these guns can be carred at a time, increasing the rate of primary fire and the strength of secondary.
Once the weapon is presented and gets good comments, I will then proceed to add it to the list.

IMPORTANT: The weapon's power level must fit the slot its in. For example, if a superweapon is presented, it should be in slot 10b, if a melee weapon is presented, it should be in slots 1a or 1b, and if an instagib weapon is presented, you guessed it, it should go in slot 4b.

If two or more weapons of the same slot are presented, they'll be placed on different slots, if there's no more available slots or if they're in a special one (ex.: slot 10b), a poll will be made to decide which of them shall be in it.

There isn't a time limit for the project.

I am the one who decides if the weapons presented should get into the project, so, if you think my decision is not fair, a moderator will decide in my place. (Just to keep all of you happy)

I admit I dont have any idea what you are talking about but a continuation of UTR is not planned actually. The 3-maps bonuspack should come soon or so, but if something comes after that, I can not tell you. (Good/Decent) mappers dont fall like rain from the sky.

A big weaponmod on unrealplayground is for YEARS already in production, maybe it would not be a bad idea if you would sign up there (but honestly I think, this weapon mod will NEVER finished)

Maybe do what USP did for their map compilation, and have a time limit? 2 months to make a weapon (Or more than 1)
That would be a good idea, IMO.

To tell the truth Alex, UP is not that active and that post is from 2006, and their rules are too strict from what the OP wants to do lol So I think that's not a good idea go there.

About that compilation, I see more and more new people trying to do their own weapons, maybe those people would like to join this, and learn with the development of the project from each others.

UBX, you could start to recruit if you want and update your first post with the people in.
