well, it was an old map for this community wich was never finished. But i think it wouldnt fit correctly to this mod

Between him showing some screens or not, let me just say that in case he could finish it, it would be a really epic map. :D
But I agree that it doesn't fit the mod itself though.

Perhaps a map like a playground, a kitchen, a garden, or something like that would fit best, of course, with Gen doing it, you can make sure you will have a great map for a great mod. :tu:

Uhm? Everyone? Or for those who are trustwortly enough? :mrgreen: we have some good followers here we sure can test our beta here. About that map. I sent you some screenshots of it when i come back home from work.

Thnx for that nice compliment :D but i aint that good. A kitchen or something would be cool... But most maps like that will be somethimk like those ''big freakin house'' snipermaps. Bad idea that i think. Maybe a ''food'' factory idea like dm-conveyer? Or a cool random like map with some cool cartoony textures (i think paper need to make those i guess, he is great with cartoons)

Else start a small poll wich kind of maps people want for this map? An limit of 5 maps total or something? I dont think i can do all maps. Let me hear what you guys think

Well a food factory sounds cool or something insane like The Land of Cockaigne !!
I rework the former shown textures of food to a more cartoony style. But I keep the real textures for a texture pack if some one wanna use 'em.

About that land of cockaigne. Sounds perfect if we can make a medieval of it. Or an map from the game painkiller called ''loony park'' looks like an amusement park from hell... In other words for those who dont know that game... Disney world from hell!

Concerning the need for the CellShader, do you need it only for the Weapons or as Fullscene Shader?

Is it possible to use this CellShader even in stock maps?
I think about Face][ played with the FF mod in Cellshade look.

If this is too time-consuming ...it would be ok if the CellShader is only for the weapons ...

Well maybe if you've read latest posts in the sdk thread: I stated there that the next builds focus entirely on graphics and rendering and I almost found out how to draw and render anything I want by using OpenGL, what I'm currently working on is optimized (LSoNP) versions of Hardware Bloom, Distance Fog, different Blur Effects, Material Post Processing, Color Post Processing, Full Scene Shader. Since these features simply rely on the render it would be drawn on every map in every mod, as long as the player uses the new render device and enables the feature(s). Currently I have some time consuming issues with VS C++ 2008 and I already coded so much of these new stuff AND I FUCKING CAN'T COMPILE IT -.-
