Could i work on a team? (+pics of maps, meshes)

Post by Rigel »

I've been into UED2.0 for years. can i be part of a team, creating a mod or something? I'm good at making maps, static meshes, textures. I mostly enjoy building medieval, baroque or victorian themed stuff, indoor or outdoor (i enjoy thievery, but it looks like no ones playing that anymore  ). And yeah, i never released any maps, but here are some samples:

sorry if this sounded needy, but i'd really like to be a part of a mod team, if they still make those for ut99. i'm a fine arts uni student btw and i have the free time now. thanks guys

Wow, those screenshots look great. You'll have no trouble joining a team. If nobody here asks you to join a team, you could check Unrealsp.org. A few UT projects are in production there.

I agree with all the other replies in this thread! :tu:
It looks like great and new work.
Do your maps play as well as they look? (not laggy?)
Your maps should be released. :gj:

And, oh yeah - *cough* my signature *cough* too! :P

Excellent models.
I would like to see a single-player mod by you.

You, sir, you will belong the the upcoming winners!

Moreoever, it really looks good. Not something you would see every day.

Really retarded, somebody willingly asks for pain and we are not unable to let him cry... wait...

DO NOT listen too him... unless you don`t have a problem, that nearly nobody of the remaining small sp community might care about this.
About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)
Why do I leave? click here
What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!

Do not get me wrong, if you have fun of doing a sp map, you should try it. I just wanted to warn you about the "output" at the end. The SP community really has gotten strange over the years...
At the end it is up to you, I only wanted to avoid an other disappointment.

What are you basing that statement on? Have there even been any UT SP projects that were released a few years ago?
