Ok, some hours later I finally can say something... thanks everyone! (without the community making positive noise about it, probably this wouldn't happen)

Second, it seems that the "master server shutdown" rumor that was around can be blasted off:

Ok, nothing here says they won't shut them down, but the way Flak said it it's clear that probably they have some pride in keeping it up, so as I see it some people worries have no justification for now.

Thirdly, a few people (doesn't matter who) seem to have sort of a small "problem" with Flak posting the mod up in their official page, but no worries, my mood is just too good right now and nothing is going to ruin it.

And the last thing: guys, don't create illusions of "hiring" lol, with my current qualifications probably I wouldn't even be hired to clean up their floor, let alone get into development, the level there is just too damn high atm.
Also, right now I would rather go indie with the UDK, and I didn't even start anything there so it's still a long way.

For now let's just be (super) happy that finally someone at Epic gave a damn about UT1 (and this mod in specific). This is way better than moddb top100 mods imo. :mrgreen:

Well, that's arguable. Flak still cares, but the rest of the crew I think not, although since the mod went to their 2 facebook accounts (Epic Games and Unreal Engine), twitter, main (and featured) community page, with even a link from their *main* page, we could assume the rest would have to be aware of it and Flak had to wait confirmation from the higher-ups to be able to post it (not sure how things work internally).

And apparently now I have the "Featured Epic Gamer" tag there lol (with only 12 posts, the majority on that topic alone).
Well, at least now I am absolutely sure that gameplay-wise NW3 isn't bad and it's surely not the reason for lack of people in the servers, that's good to know for my next project in UDK.

As far as I can see, it has just been a matter of exposure.
Not as many eyes on the Unreal world these days (probably not enough zombies)

Looking for the setting to set the total amount of cybots spawned and to turn of the ground-shake of the x-rockets since it lags to much when punks get their hands on them.

I don't know Epic's full history on released games but I'm pretty sure ut99 was a biggie for them.

Those settings do not exist in this version, but I actually have both of them in my todo list so those settings will come in the final version.
