This is totally and absolutely awesome!

Very interesting effects at Protos oversurrection..i'm about those darkening and whole other stuff. Will be interesting to look through mechanics of them.

oMFG! You are a monster ferali! This is so awesome , really awesome work :rock:

U have to create a new MH ho the monsters support more attack of this weps, and monsters with some efects like this.. that will be awesome :tu:

I'd found some strange bug.
Dunno maybe someone had same thing...
While using IRPR scope, when i have world detail set to Medium level, pawns (bots, players) wont be highlighted in zoom. They become totally black and i absolutely cant see them.
For unknown reasons, this appears only when level texture detail quality in options set to Medium - both Low and High works normally.

This bug appeared after i installed OpenGl version 3.7 and configured it as config was described in topic "Tweak Your UT Graphics To The Maximum!"
Befor when i used older versions there werent any errors like this.
And besides, bug appears both in online and offline play.

Finally I will be able to make this final release and move on to far more interesting things. :mrgreen:
Although the effect didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it to, since to make the exact entire effect that I planned out I would need to invest more time in it, which I don't want to (the initial plan was to have a cinematic scene in the end and a couple more effects).

And like some people noticed, the oversurrection "theme" of the UltimaProtos is indeed a star life cycle (although far from realistic and lacking a lot of things, but it was my try at it at UE1 though). :)

@Torax: as for the bug, yeah, some people had it as well, but your info about how to exactly reproduce it is new.
The other ones who reported couldn't find the cause and I couldn't reproduce it... so it seems that it happens on Medium settings... interesting.
If you open the console and type "flush", do they become bright again?
I will take a look at it later on. Thanks for the report :tu:

Hell I nearly had to change my trousers.
I think it would have to be used as the game objective somehow, or people will get to learn a whole lot of new curse-words.

Well that works. But after i restarted botmatch - bug appeared again.
Check out the archive with the log files i'd attached. I saw also few script warnings and errors, and not only about this thing -there were few "Accessed None" stuff
And this was checked with IRPR arena mutator.

There are two logs, first with OpenGL 3.7 used render where i founf this bug, other with render from OldUnreal that Doc adviced to check.
Besides with the second one bug is the same.

@Render bug: I couldn't reproduce it in my end. But it's in all likelihood a renderer driver. Torax: did you try the D3D9 renderer to check if it does the same issue?

@logs: The RT one is fixed in the final version. But I noticed some others which aren't there, and which I reproduced and I am going to fix them.

Nope, D3D doesnt have thing like OGL have. Seems that it is driver glitch

Here's a question:
When that Game Finisher is fired on, say, a DOM match for example, who would be the winners? The team that had the most points at the time of the launch, or the team that fired it in the 1st place?...

... Or is there an option for tweaking that too? :tongue:

What if the scores are tied when the Ultima's Oversurrection is used?
I've been playing UT for so long it's practically tradition.

The score is irrelevant to decide which player/team wins once this oversurrection is used. It's not only a game finisher, it guarantees the victory of whoever uses it.
So it doesn't really matter if they're tied or if the other team is winning.
However, it only triggers the game finish/win in the end of the oversurrection effect, which means that if the other team manages to win the game somehow before the oversurrection finishes, it's their victory instead.

What if it were used in single player? Crash?

The game finisher is enabled by default. As for single player games, it doesn't finish the game (it only finishes matches of the type "tournament", so only stuff like DM, TDM, CTF, MH, etc, but not SP.
