Hi,
I think Nyan Cat Deemer for UT3 is one of the funniest mods I've ever seen in Unreal saga so I just wanted to know if someone worked (or is working) on the UT99 porting...

I really like these funny weapons. Like the Greenie Gun, the Gib Shooter (perhaps a different name, Flak Cannon that shoots gibs) or the ones in the Beyond Unreal pack (Poop Rifle, Smilie Launcher and the super sheep from Worms.
I want more weapons like those, just one question. What exactly is porting? you mean making the weapon from a scratch for UT99?

^ Porting means to re-make a similar mod for UT99 (in this case) UT3_MOD ---> UT99_MOD
you often see the 'porting' term used in sense from Windows --> Linux. or vice/versa

perhaps some0ne would lile to Port the BunnyBomber from UT99 to UT3 lmao.

I think I can make a Nyan Cat Deemer but I just want the Fire Sounds from UT3 (as I don't have it) and that Ambient Music when Nyan Cat Warhead Flies.

Anyway, this is the ambient music (.ogg format) obtained by decompiling the original Nyan Cat Demeer package for UT3 (I was able to get 2 rainbow textures from the original package too, can they be useful for you ?).
At the moment I don't have any sounds from UT3 (and if I downloaded them, I surely don't remember where I saved these files) but I can search for them somewhere


PS: I think you need the permission by the author of the original UT3 mutator for any single file used...

If you need any code from this mod please let me know. It would make a nice wrapper for the cat launcher, especially if you wanted multiple types of cats to be launched:

Troll guy is probably the class you'd use. All you need is to animate the cat and add the proper trail.

I just added a new context option to Windows, so I can just double-click them and they dump the sounds to the same folder.

Is it posible to modify the Shield Belt so instead of being one color it changes like a rainbow? I'm not a fan of rainbows but this would go well along with the Nyan Cat Redeemer.

I prefer the shield-belt in Xpickups anyway.
