Made Nyan Cat Deemer for UT. Though some things does'nt meet the ones from UT3 like its Trail and non-opaque CAM HUD. (I tried but failed to do so.) Source codes has been provided in the ZIP file.

I look forward to trying this, though I'm a bit bummed the warhead launcher isn't all done up in pastel colors too.

Yo Rocky, would you mind if I tried to make one on my own? Like, way way in the future...
I like the Nyan Cat Deemer and I would love to see what I could come up with but I don't want to bother you at all. I would have to finish a lot of other stuff before I even tried but I would like to do it.

we have tried it yesterday on ISC server in UZI+Relics mod :highfive:
well, this mutator is simply amazing but the nyan cat explosion stopped my ut99 for 5-10sec :lol2: ...I ask for infos to other guys on the server and also those with a bit better hardware (quad core + nVidia 8800GT) said me explosion effect stopped their machines for some seconds...this is really a powerful weapon ! :mrgreen:

serioulsy...in order to play with nyan cat, I think explosion must be a bit "weakened" otherwise most of the players (or at least those with no cool hardware) will experiment bad ingame slowdowns: I'm not an expert coder but maybe the NyanShockCaller class can be modified to get only 1 explosion effect instead of 6 at the same time...

Doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Okay, scratch that. Worked fine an hour later. Weird though.

I only get a 1½ to 2 second interrupt when it explodes. Pretty sweet, kitty music isn't as loud as I thought it would be.

There's one odd lil' thing though:

I was piloting one around the map when I decided to switch my perspective, I've got 1st and 2nd person views key-binded. I've done this with normal redeemers, but it looked like I was next to the Nyan when I turned and when I straightened out I was still looking like I was next to the side of it.

Other than that, pretty sweet!

yesterday I've modded the Nyan Cat Deemer built by Rocky, I called it Nyan Cat Deemer Mini BETA :)
His mutator rocks but, as I written above, I just wanted to "weaken" the secondary explosion effects to avoid annoying ingame slowdowns on older machines.
I've tested it on my local UT99 (win32) server and also online on ISC Sniper Server, the mutator seems to work.

This option in your UT.ini if false disables your Screen Flash for example if Loque hits you with a Shock Rifle then your Screen won't flash red. This option is mainly disabled for pro players as I myself play in Servers against Pros. But don't worry I will Fix it.

Thanks UTPe for your efforts :) . Impressive looking ShockWave. Yet I got another idea, I will fix those Slowdown issues and change those Shockwaves. Since my Exams are going on. So you might have to wait till this weekends. And will post this as an small Update.

I may give the BETA a whirl, but I like the original just fine. I get virtually no slow down when it explodes, maybe 2 seconds tops.

UPDATE:

Fixed the SlowDown Issues, no more such LAGS and totally new Effects and All (I meant new Explosion).
One Problem Idk What the hell! The CAM HUD now became a Disco HUD lol when I imported new color textures, but still looks good.
