A lot of the time I fire a redeemer I don't do alt fire, i do a direct primary fire shot.

Because of this I've noticed the Nyan Deemer, not the beta, sometimes doesn't explode with that multi-memory killing-blast. Sometimes, not often, it just makes a single large red blast.

Very rarely it makes the big red and then there's a secondary cluster of multi-blasts a split-second later.

Any idea why?

I'm at work now and won't get the chance to do that until Saturday night; long story involving commuting woes.

In the meantime, you may be able to see it for yourself. Assuming that like most people you generally use redeemers with the alt-fire so you can fly it around and guide it to targets, go into any map where nothing will be shooting back at you and fire a few Nyan-deemers at the walls using primary-fire.

So you don't gotta keep summoning it in, use the 'AllAmmo' cheat to get 999 of the things.

Odds are pretty good you'll see what I'm talking about eventually.

1) 2 days so not a double-post.

2) Think I've figured it out on my own. It's not a fault in the Nyan-deemer, it's a memory thing.

With limited memory, for whatever reason, it just makes a red blast:

Sometimes the memory issue is brief, say the red kills a lot of the monsters causing the memory drain...

...then the multi-burst occasionally triggers with sudden freed memory:

Nope, the new version has only one ShockWave instead of many and all 7 different colors are in one Shockwave. So there will be no more such lag issues and you can fire as many Nyan Cat's you want.

About that AltFire Piloting the deemer has been FIXED but yes HUD cam is now a Disco HUD Cam not the normal one.

Regrettably noticed that. It's not as powerful or does as much damage as it used to. Still pretty though.

I liked the original version so much I put it on a map...

After playing with the Nyan-cat redeemer for an extended amount of time, it's kind of addictive, I've come to realize a hidden danger of the thing...

That damned song gets permanently stuck in your head!

Sorry, there was no better way to express it... and I think my eyes are seeing rainbows everywhere too.

Not really. I've got a site that does that rainbow thing. Just need to know how to switch from that code to this forum's code and use a replace text feature to do all the work for me.
