Are you making the sub-classes of the originals ?
That often means existing mutators work well with them.

I sure did :D I made sure that it's works with other mutators! The only muts it WILL NOT work with are other muts such as zp, PureStats weapons, ect .. That try to overwride the default weapons, becasue my mut is replacing the existing weapons to replace them with mine (for the fancy effects!)

Thanks for the support! I am trying to do the absolute best I can! Altho you might not be able to tell, but this is my very 1st mutator, and also the 1st thing I've EVER CODED!!! So I'm quite proud of myself with it, no matter what anyone might say!

Can I please get some feedback regarding this ???

i like some of these stuffs... ammm i "started" my proj. with blackcheeta 2k4 mod.. mm but then i decided to recreate all weapons and projectils types.. to get a closer mod to ut2k4.. this is cool..

Yeah, with so many different people starting to recreate 2K4 over the years, it would be better to pool resources.
Gizzy may have plenty of useful new resources, as he was also building from scratch.
However he has left the Unreal scene, and may not respond.

Nice. Well it wasn't my intention to recreate 2K4 in UT99! My intentions were to enhance the graphocs as well as the gameplay. Which is why my mod EnhancedUT offers soo many features. Mostly all the features from UTPure, just implemented differently. The new UDam HUD Icon timer / UDam Bonus (where you drop it when killed with x time remaining) from newer UT3! There are several features offered in my mod, just look for it. The latest version is RC1_fix! But when I seen the UT99 Ultimate trailer, and I already had everything needed to make this video, I just had to! Tho, I think it would be cool tho to make this project. I would consider pulling resources and helping Nephew with this new gametype. Waiting on reply PM!

An honest question though... why put UT2k4 gameplay into UT99? Isn't UT2k4 quite fine being, you know, on UT2k4? While it's interesting and a cool coding feat, I fail to see the point behind all of this.

Yessir, I think that pretty much sums it up. Like I said, I didn't intent on doing a 2K4 proj but I'm willing to share resources and help with the proj. I still intend on taking EnhancedUT to the next level tho. I love the UT99 gameplay and I think it's a shame the graphix suffer, so I'm going to do all I can to enhance the reg weapons to give UT a modern feel! :wink:

You can already dodge-jump in Unreal and UT. You just enable the option in the prefs.

BTW. Wormos own enhanced mods may be a good comparison to aim for, or better.

These are the sorts of improvements I would expect to see in a modern pack.

Could you also try and add bullet travel sounds ?
Even the bio-goo could fizzle and crackle while travelling maybe ?
Look at the Chaos sniper rifle if you want inspiration.
How do we feel about tracers ?
I've always thought the minigun could do with firing the odd tracer round, or that the bullets in the faster right-click mode should all be hot and act like tracers.

@krid awesome bro!

@DrFlay , Dodge jump was a new move incorporated into UT2K4's extra movement capabilities..
it enables the player to dodge , then jump without touching the ground.
is a pretty cool feature to jump to ledges paralell to the user yet just a bit too far to Dodge normally too.

other moves were like wall dodges and such.

dodge jump was removed from UT3 AFAIK.
