Food Fight RC5 is now public and everyone is welcome to play.
Our server is open for everyone and we have a Redirect running.



On Friday evening CET begins the coffee-hunt ...and I dare you to beat me. :mrgreen:
We will play DM and BurgerCTF.
Dr.Flay knows already a little bit how to handle those weapons. ;)

The server will stay open a little bit longer then the last time.
This mode is very close to final.

Just wanted to add that you don't need to install anything to join. You will be sent a singe file: FoodFight.u (and the map if you don't have it). That's all you need to play, everything is contained in the U.

Please don't worry with pulling it from your cache. Provided things go well paper will be posting the full mod download this weekend with source code, int, ini, and compressed file. I just wanted a couple of days to watch the server and make sure I didn't miss anything. We sure hope you guys enjoy, it was great fun to work with such wonderful developers.

You make it sound like I may be a challenge.
Lately I have been playing Unreal with CS weapons, so I'll have to fire-up the UT barbecue and warm-up a bit.

Don't forget you can make the IP address clickable if you prefix it with unreal:// and set it as a URL

Thanks for the joins and playing guys. First day's logs look really solid, I'm super happy with the results. We are on track for this weekend's full release.

Man, this feels really both good and bad. It's good in that it's really nice to step back and see the final product. Y'all have no idea how much testing and work went into this by the FF dev team and none of it was wasted. It's bad though because this closes the book on a big chunk of my work for UT, and will be the last work of any real size from me. I'll probably still dabble from time to time but this one burned me out from wanting anything else to work on. It's just too much time and effort for minimal results. It's no one's fault, it's just that the game is old and most have moved on.

Still, paper gets to post a final version of Food Fight. He deserved that as much as anyone in the community deserved something as a legacy. Now he has a spot up there with Shrimp and Monsterhunt, Higor and Siege, Ferali and NaliWeapons, Fluke and Jets, Cardi and Mapping, etc. Now you add paper and FoodFight...

Well done paper, well done.

Played till now with many people (Dr.Flay where have you been?) ...And I came to the conclusion ...WE DID EVERYTHING RIGHT :mrgreen:

We only need a explanation video for all weapons ...some people are still confused why certain weapons have no alt fire.
Just to show how this mod is played.

I'm working on a single player demo map that shows each weapon and how it's used. Give me a couple of days.
