mods not working

Post by feedyourhead »

is the only requirement of mods to be extracted into the correct folders? ive been doing that, yet ut99 extension pack still wont start, as well as several skins mods...

What do you mean? Online or offline (practise)?

And what UT99 extension pack? I only know Shadow's one...

depends if you are installing using a Umod or zip/rar file

umod should work fine but if you extract for example with winzip into system, it will creat another folder in system called "system" then you have to cut and paste them out of there into main system folder, same with other filetypes.

hey there
these are the settings...

UAX =sounds folder
UMX =music folder
UTX =textures folder

INT =system folder
U =system folder
different then that = system folder

umod extract with umod tool and instal in the right map.
if that stil dont work u might need a other skin update package...
like some boss skins need other files that contain the mesh and so fort...
cheers

Then you must select "open with" and choose "Unreal Tournament.exe" in the System file of your UT. Then it should work ;)
