There are many servers with all types of RX...


Some servers run basic re skinned versions from the original RX series... like .:AE:.

others run entirely new designs and coded RX's based off the original...

Examples are the Alien-X, and StealthFighter of RoseBum
-------------the Nemisis-X of {WINGS}
-------------the Nemisis-XF of {HoF}
-------------and the Psycho-X of {SP1}


Register on the forums of any one of these fantastic communitys to lean a little more about the RX...

Hopefully after playing a little bit you will gain interest and continue to fly with RX-CTF...

I like RX.

I have played with RX even in a MH map.

But it's cool to play CTF with RX.

Do you know what Strangelove is? Well, is the same, but with some differences, like:
- The visual of the Redeemer and the rocket (can be a ship, and no a rocket);
- You can fire directly from the rocket, like minigun type, or other type;

Rocket-X is a modification of the Strange Love...

instead of flying around on a missile you actually take full control of a Jet... Due to the Physics limitations of the Unreal Engine you can only rotate the jet on two axis's up and down and side to side... but you cant barrel roll... The RX take the spot of a Redeemer on a map and when you pick it up it appears just as a deemer does but it usually has a clans custom skin on it... there are two modes of fire with the RX... the first fires a homing nuclear missile at an opponent... the homing is quite powerful and without the aid if a nooblocator... i mean Trans... you can not dodge it once its locked on to you if you are on the ground... However, the secondary fire of the RX launches you into a Jet which you pilot throughout the map... you adjust your speed with the arrows and have the option of going afterburner by using your secondary fire WHILE IN the jet... once you are in the air your primary fire becomes machine gun fire... As you steer your way around the map with your mouse you can launch yourself out at any time by simply hitting your jump button... when the jet hits a wall it will explode just like a missile does... this is a great strategy when used correctly you can "throw" your jet into a wall killing an opponent who is pursuing you and throwing yourself to safety...Crouch puts you in the gunners seat of the RX... its a good strategy when used by Seasoned Vets like myself or Qwerty... You can lock a missile onto a player who is flying as well... however it is not difficult to shake one of them off by simply whipping a u-turn near the ceiling or a wall... You can hold the flag while you are flying and this is why RX is used primarily in CTF...


the I.P. Qwerty listed is to a great CTF server owned by Q-bert himself...

however i would advise you to try as many RX servers as possible as they all have a different feel to them...

I own an RX serevr as well and we run a custom mod of the RX called the Psycho-X or PX...

this is a design that is slightly hareder to fly and has lots of cool features that would strain a large server... but as it is {SP1} Server is a private practice server for the members of the clan only... sorry guys...

Just remember that you probably will not like at least one of those servers... but i garantee one of them will hit your favorites as soon as you play on it...

I never played with Nemesis, just Rocket-X, because I didn't know Nemesis, and let me tell you that seems awsome
I watched your explosion effect video, and it's a really good effect, it's to bad that my explosion doesn't seem so awsome.
Maybe I will learn how to do a good looking explosion.

i can always pass you the code for the explosion so you can take a look and see how it works if you want?

its actually 3 class calls to complete the explosion, one after the other.

I would like to, Thank You very much

That's I want to improve my Ultimate explosion effect, because it seems powerfull, but with bad looking.
For other hand, one of my mod weapons will be the "MultiMissile Launcher", which is going to be a mod from the Rocket Launcher, which will lock on, fire some homing missiles, and other types of missiles, with custom types of explosions

I will take a look on your code, and put your credits too for the explosions I have to make

P.S.: I will look, learn the stuff, but I am not modifying it.
