Re: Kinds of maps and how many
this should be an interesting thread ... so is that all you got? or is that just what you have unzipped in your maps folder(s)?
i'll post my "numbers" whenever I get back on my current ut machine - i've quite a large collection, although i bet some folks have wayyy more than me

I've got some more I haven't gotten to yet, but zipped doesn't count as "have" in my book.FraGnBraG wrote:this should be an interesting thread ... so is that all you got? or is that just what you have unzipped in your maps folder(s)?

Re: Kinds of maps and how many
Is this one of those veiled "mine is bigger than yours" threads?
It's a shame we can't easily list WHAT maps we have since that would be the interesting part. Numbers are not really saying anything other than you uncache too much.

So long, and thanks for all the fish
Re: Kinds of maps and how many

Not a bad idea.Metalfist wrote:yeah rather add a list the top 3 or 5 maps of each gametype you have.
I've been thinking of starting an essential Maps/Mappers thread.

Not exactly. More random curiosity.JackGriffin wrote:Is this one of those veiled "mine is bigger than yours" threads?
Technically we could, if anyone wants to take a screenshot of their /maps directory.JackGriffin wrote:It's a shame we can't easily list WHAT maps we have since that would be the interesting part. Numbers are not really saying anything other than you uncache too much.
By what criteria would you use for the top 3 or 5?Metalfist wrote:yeah rather add a list the top 3 or 5 maps of each gametype you have.

Re: Kinds of maps and how many
I'm gonna test and post some directory listing type utils, to make this easier.
Recommendations welcome.
Most I'm finding are sh*t, so I've only got 2 useful ones so far.
A reminder, while it is still enabled that Opera Unite will let you share folders for people, without them needing an account in anything.

Re: Kinds of maps and how many
At least for Windows, can't you just use this as a command line script?
Code: Select all
Dir *.unr /b
