I think the maps are great!

Yeah, downloaded it yesterday night. Played a few rounds. Some maps were nice.
My opinion towards this map pack is almost similar to the one for all those FoT maps.

I knew I had it coming, is pretty rare that somebody does NOT like quality maps, at least in matters of FOT. Whats the reason? Sheer envy I think! If you dont try to make progress outside of skybox texture packs you will never move from the spot

Envy??? yeah right... the reason is pretty simple:
UT99 > UT3

AFAIK FOT had never UT3 like pickups.

I downloaded it on my work yesterday. Gonna try it tomorrow.

But, for a first impression of the screens...It seems to be incredible.

Not yet, there are some online issues, at least it seems so, we are working on a patch.
