Any of you use different modelling software?

Hi guys.

I was just wondering how many of you map makers have ventured out into other [full blown] 3D modelling software.
Im pretty sure that unrealEd is based around Maya. Anyone made the jump to it? or 3Ds Max etc?

I use Lightwave 3D to do some modelling. Is it possible to import a map into unrealEd from a different software?
Im a total UED noob, but im just curious

Hmmm to be honest, i dont use such things. i only use Ued + Meshmaker for models, that all

Milkshape3D is what i have always used for any mesh/model i make....











i also made this weapon in MS3D, its the new konglauncher for the New RocketX5 which was launched
about a week ago for its first testing (its basically a mix of the NemesisX and RocketX but jet has new mesh and so does the launcher as well as many other upgrades)







MS3D is probably the easiest to get used to when modeling
