I guess because of "Fake BackDrop" of that surface.
Awesome catch Barbie, thank you. Sometimes you need another set of eyes to see things.

I'll be looking at this soon. Sorry, slow days with full time @ work.

Yes, that brush has two void areas. If you walk over, you'll get killed ("Barbie left a small crater"). The Wiki has some hints about ICHs, but I think it's not worth the work fixing that: the void areas are outside the playground and player should not go there anyway.^^

Problem is if you run low gravity with xloc you will have access to that area. lift jump with lowG and you're going to be in space.

Just redo the brush, change it to solid before deleting it. Those collision hulls are semisolid, right ?

So change it to a solid ADD brush, build, then delete, build again, save map. then make new one. Not sure, but either have it touch no other brush, or have one edge touch a subtract brush.
If you already deleted it you must go back to the map before you deleted it.

Those collision problems can extend across a map and mess up some other completely unrelated area, or BSP hole, or instant death BSP. I always change semi solid to solid then rebuild, then delete, before I do more.

I will give that a try, and I also have some other ideas that i'm going to pursue.
