Unreal tournament extension pack.
As I've been out of the UT99 loop for a while this Is new to me, has anyone here used this update or have any Info on It!?
It sounds like an really Important update for UT99 adding all these extras, has anyone created any maps using It?
Thanks In advance.

Well, that SDK is a cancelled project by Shadow, so far he released a Demo/Basic edition of his SDK. I would say that you have kickass things to place in a map with it, like dynamic coronas, lensflares, beams and projectors. I don't advice to use his particle system, because it's too resource demanding.
If you want a very good particle/wheather system made in native C++ coding (much much less resource demanding), here's the link: http://www.unrealsp.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=470 (made by .:..: ).

No tutorials. Nothing.
About to be non-active
My very last UT map project: CTF-FacePalm (tropical CTF-Face remake)
Why do I leave? click here
What I want to do next: Joining an UDK team (uncertain however) and improve 3D modelling and texture editing skills
Thanks to those who visibly supported me until/at the end!

Re: Unreal tournament extension pack.
Both updates sound really Interesting, things I've been wanting to do In a UT map for ages.
I obviously just need to have a play around with them when I've finished my current map.
Do either of you have any maps you've worked on using any of these updates?

Btw, these particles are being updated by Dots, so download the particle system, but be aware for new updates (a thing that Dots never do is announce a new update in a bump post, so check his edits to the first posts).

Thanks Feralidragon, will keep on eye on what he's up to.
Just a quick edit to this post, I cant believe how many resources you have on this website!
From Mods, textures, mutators, map packs etc all In one place which Is a God send If you've been out of the loop for a while or just need a specific piece of software, mesh maker for example. Downloading basicly everything onto my mobile(8 gigs mem thankfully) for when I get home.
Nice work everyone Involved.

Hey Smeerkat, like old times, we should try and get GOAT, ANAND, EVERYONE over here as they could contribute to the third map pack!
Maybe.....
An your right about the domain name, when my little girl was born I had to cut back on alot of things, sadly that was one. Not happy about what I had to do but who knows what the future holds?
Anyway, It's a great site here, what the guys have done and are working on Is very Impressive and they are all friendly enougth. Glad I found this place.

Don't count your eggs until they're hatched. Also possible that is completly pointless to wait for the SDK...
