TDM/CTF - Liandri Corportation Medical Centre :

Name TBC, this map is very tactical orientated. It features an almost symmetrical style to it, and provides lots of alternate routes within a small space.
The main features of this map are that it is designed for small structured matches, no more than 8 vs 8 (its maximum capacity) however is better suited to 4 vs 4 Matches.

CTF - Unatco Towers:

Time To Release: TBC


Still in planning this map shall utilise the many textures seen in Deus Ex. Have you ever wanted to gib your friends amongst the UNATCO offices? Now you can.

BT - Lucifer's Gate

Time To Release: TBC[/center]

Lucifer's Gate is set in a crack which has developed across New York City, the players must have their Survivors traverse to the bottom of hell and back up to cross the crack. Once they have managed that they must traverse the remaining city which is under lockdown by the Military to the docks.

Once at the docks they must board their designated boat to flee New York.
This map shall use Deus Ex Textures.

So while this minor info whets your palatte for more CTF goodness, I shall provide screenshots tommorow and if anyone wishes provide Betamaps for testing.

Amendments:

Courtyards - Considering adding arching Beams. Should start as a pillar on either side leading in a curve to a central point on the ceiling, moving the lantern down.

Barracks - I need to add something to the centre of each of the barracks. Was thinking a Central "Weapon Rack" with one of each weapon.

Due to the small size of the map, I may or may not Extend the map. I would appreciate input on this aspect especially so.

The weapons are currently set to 5 Seconds respawn, and only the Sniper,Flak and Rocket Launcher have ammo spots. Cause I say so LOL no really its because I believe those weapons suit the map better.

Input PLEASE! :flack: :mrgreen:

Edit: Final Note, Yes I know. This map is "CUBEY" However I would rather get the layout, and gameplay sorted before prettying it up.
The only pretty I have done here is "attempting" to make realistic lighting.

EDIT:Images have been reduced to links for ease of vision.

hi..

Texture useage looks ok to me.
But the map is WAY to empty by geometry, ( it are just huge boxes, try to add some details in it. example.. pillars, crates etc.. just fill up the spaces some more.. )Not that that does matter. bcoz i think ths map would do good on iCTF matches :)

Precisely what I was aiming for :D lol I play mostly Zoominsta & Zark lol.

However yeah I am looking for something to drop in the maps. What do you think to a weapon rack in each of the barracks? and perhaps "loose" crates that can be shot about for mobile cover?

all the pictures that you have shown are roomes that use basic shapes

Yup I know. Like I said earlier. I prefer to get the basic layouts arranged, then modify those using addon Pillars, wall extensions and so forth.

Besides. What the hell is so bad with using basic shapes??? I understand people getting narked with Box Rooms which consist of a Single Cube. But ah brick walls. :ironic2:

Creav pointed out to me,although in a not so friendly way. That my maps do need improvement. Due to this I am overhauling LCMC with little extras, nothing of professional standard but enough to get rid of the boxy look.

Also all other dates have been removed due to structural redesign on paper. Lucifers_Gate was too complex for myself to actually create :loool: and Unatco Towers requires some more skybox work before I can start on the map.

So for now only expect news on the Liandri Corporation Medical Centre.
