Can you open other maps you created?
Did you try to save the map with a different name and open this new version?
What's the content of the editor log file?

I use WIndows 10.
I can open all maps I created.
I tried to save the map with another name and the result is the same.
I don't know where is the editor log file :/

The file I wish to open is the recompiled map that Barbie gave to me (incredible name )

No issues with logfiles either, just checked the system log and the editor logs. Both are clean.

Make sure you make backup and save map with new name every time you save. You never know when you'll run into issues again.
