Usually... no. I mean extra files like XFO stfu files... There is a good chance I don't have such extras and usually a mapper should include those (unlike richrig and MH gametype).papercoffee wrote:But you have to get all bonus packs ...or do you plan to play the maps on a vanilla install?Swanky wrote:Also, make sure all dependencies are there. Made a bit of room for tomorrow so I would like to test out a few maps myself and writing reviews. I don't wanna be hunting downloads all over to test these for judging.

It's okay! You got the point: " get included in the map-pack".papercoffee wrote:Well, then just finish your maps and they get included in the map-pack afterwards.makemeunreal wrote:We've got no chance winnin' the contest nor bein' awed. I don't want our maps to be available for votin' tho.
I didn't wanted to sound too harsh ...it's just, a contest is a contest.

On a deadline?UnrealGecko wrote:@Carbon and everyone else... thoughts?
Well, I suppose it should be soon, as this has been running for a while now. Having said that, I'm not a mapper and don't want to give these contributors any stress that way.
I will defer to your better judgement.
Re: The 3072uu Mapping Contest
I was just reading that there are also some other lazy mappers here other than me begging for some extra time. (just as usual)...
Seeing this, i decided to finish some of those extra visual stuff instead of testing out the botpaths completely. So i am not ready yet, so when i said it will be here on friday, i lied. It will be here on the end of the weekend. If the review and voting comes after this, that's great, i really would love to read some criticism about my map, and feel free to omit it from the voting list. Besides, as you will see, my theme is not very original.

Re: The 3072uu Mapping Contest
As a random note, was gonna make a map but I've never made a 3072uu map. I'll release what I have after the contest, I doubt would win just because it will be maybe the third map I've ever made.

Re: The 3072uu Mapping Contest
I might have time for a MA-3072 map then ?
I see mappers being busy to add maps rather than fixing what they already did - WRONG... good, keep going, I'm here.

Re: The 3072uu Mapping Contest
I've finished reviewing the DM maps. I had to exclude Tyr's maps unfortunately because of the .exe installers. If anyone could provide zipped versions I would include those. So far my favourites are ScarE and UnderHive. Now on to the CTF maps!

Haven't had any issues with any other files, so thanks, will try your advice and see if it works.

Re: The 3072uu Mapping Contest
Hey papercoffee, thanks again, those links worked and Tyrs maps are now included. The writing process is done for now. Gonna take a few screenshots tomorrow and wait for the staff to find us a fitting place for the upload process, so when votes are commencing, I plan on releasing the reviews.
