Does anyone know off the top of their head what the maximum terminal velocity of a zone is before a player sustains injury when falling from hight? I knew this 10 years ago but have no idea now!
Just an idea I had for my 3072 map. Not sure about making it a low gravity zone as players might bump their head on the upper limit of the map and the movement/falling is too slow and low gravity wouldn't fit the theme of the map. But being able to jump from hight without injury would open up a lot of Z-axis play.
or is their a simpler way that I just haven't thought about?
max zone terminal velocity before a player is injured?
Re: max zone terminal velocity before a player is injured?
The threshold for falling damage is -1.4 * JumpZ. Default JumpZ is 325, I think. Multiply that by 1.1 for the Hardcore game mode that is usually used and that would be about 500 for the falling speed where damage starts.
