My map for the 3072 mapping contest

Post by PrinceOfFunky »

Ok so, since some of you already showed their maps for the 3072 mapping contest, I was thinking to show mine(I already did it on discord but of course not all of you saw it).
Actually, I don't know if I'll be able to publish it for the contest, I have many stuff to do like exams etc...

Wonder how I'll find textures of clothes to place near the windows lol.

Looks good.

Would be a unpleasant place to get groceries if the kralls rule town tho. :what:

Basing on my slow times on mapping, I think, if I'll ever publish the map for the contest, I won't give access to most of the buildings to the players.

I think BlockAll are not required as you can adjust the collision radius and height of those krall meshes.

The sceptre is oblique, the collision is a cylinder so it would occupy useful space :/

You can manipulate the collision cylinder.

A higher CollisionRadius would occupy useful space, I don't think there's a way to manipulate it and change its shape, since it wouldn't be considered a cylinder anymore.

Hmmmm... maybe invisible (semi-solid) brushes with a rudimentary shape of the mesh could be a solution. I didn't test it till now, but it should work.

But what's wrong with the BlockAll? XD

Good question... and I don't have an answer.

Forget it. just finish your map and let us play test it.
It's already the 5th November ...only 5 days left.

I wish I would be able to :(
My schedule of this week is:
- Building something with popsicles as gift in time for the 17.
- Studying for an exam.
- Creating a minecraft real time-machine (not just like those stupid "time machines" which brings you to places or whatever lol).
- Obtaining a lot of textures for the map, like hanging clothes.
- Making a day-night cycle with the AdvMut.

This means:
- I'll download textures with watermarks if I don't find good ones.
- I won't build any interior except some building bases.

I think you can delay the last 2 things in that schedule for later use, and put this map above those :P
