Map won't load. Says it's missing "UB-Crypt" package.

Additive Brush299 should be in order after subtractive Brush400. ;o)

Alrighty then!

As a MonsterHunt map I've always found Morose to be particular frustrating, as with it's twisting architecture and hidden switches I got lost on it the first few times I played on it... and truth to tell I do still when I rarely play.

As a CTF map though, I found it disturbingly easy:
Image

All the twisty pathways are there as they are in the MH version, but here there's a direct straight path between the 2 flags.

Played it with (as you can see) teams of 4 players and (as you can also see) set to 5 points FTW, game was won in just a little over a minute and a half.

Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty map... but the flags being that straight a path and so relatively close? Only real challenge is surviving enemy fire as you grab the flag and run back and forth.

Were it me I'd have placed the flag up on a higher level. At the far back of both sides, on the top level, there's a ledge you have to jump over a gap to get to. That would've been an ideal place for greater challenge and more use of the intricate paths that exist throughout the map to get there.

Just my 0.02¢

Added: Okay, I made a boo boo. Place I was talking about was the middle area up top with the shield. My bad.

However, this is a good spot instead:

Behind both flags on the upper level (behind that post) is an ideal spot (to me) for the flag. Easier to defend there, harder for players to get to.

Not that you have to do this, obviously.

Well, try it on Godlike!

As for the flag placement, hmmm... let me reconsider it.

Hope it's okay.
This one contains the ominous UB-Crypt package as well.

Thanks for givin' me that idea!

Oh, it is not a big deal: that brush simply does not exist in world after a build because it's cut away.

BTW: Same is true for Brush20/Brush184 at mirrored side.

I largely play offline these days with bots, so how they handle a map is as much important to me as how I play it.

Flag placement worked well, really only 1 way to get up there but there's at least a couple ways to get down.

Only one small issue... the bots never go up there.

Thought it was just they couldn't with me mowing them down, but even on my own team the bot assigned to defend the flag never actually got up to that level to defend it.
