DM-Treatcherous-Beta01 (work in progress)

Post by biohazardx9 »

Here's something I have partially rescued and now kinda finishing it off. It's not finished yet lots missing.
I am not sure if I want to add to it... it's a good 1v1 (poss 2v2) on it's own layout now. perhaps an XL version?
Also this could easily be a DOM map, with control points at each end and one in the middle. I will configure it as such, and make it so you just change DM- to DOM- to use it that way.

Feedback greatly appreciated.

Screenshots are a little dark, but what I see I like so far. Looking forward to the beta version. :tu:

I think you might want to choose another name. I already Made a CTF map called Treatment. I was thinking of eventually making it into a DM map. Just to avoid creator confusion.

The only concern I have are those very long tunnels. They are death-traps ...why should you even consider to enter them?
Are there important goodies inside?

can be shortened, and yes theres a room in each one holding a weapon. two player starts in the main area and one in each tunnel end.

it has no dead ends, apart from the two rooms but they're very small, and serve merely to house a weapon.

In any case, more screenshots and the first beta for you to all try. (there are some refinements like the tunnel entrances that need finishing but, it's very playable right now)

I would rename it in DM-Treatcherous-Beta01 to prevent mismatches. We have some people who collect anything UT related, regardless if it's unfinished stuff.

Oh, and please avoid double posts if possible. I know, we have a file restriction per post. But you could use a file host like dropbox or mediafire.
