We had in the last contest a map named "The Void" Maybe you should think about a different name?

Just got the general layout done. Started messing around with bot pathing.I'll call it CTF-CMC-HellScape.

As for the links, you should get the one that says "BBCode (Forums)" it will show automatically the image instead of the link as its the case.

Well i´m going to have to stop for a full week (job travel :? )

Looking awesome thus far. :mrgreen:

Well, I might as well show where I am at currently.
The 1st screenshot is the tower I am current working on, which starts underground and goes up to the top of the map.
The 2nd is just the same flag room, now with the flag for a size perspective.
The 3rd is the underground part of the map.
The entire map is still missing a lot of BSP and a lot of sculpting to be done (I am at around about 20% as far as BSP goes).

I've managed to get the basic layout about 85% done.

Now I just need to finish the layout, add all the details, textures, lighting, pickups, pathing and movers.

And I have just under 2 more days to get it all done...

Why only 2 more days? There's around 4 weeks left for the deadline, are you saying you will get so busy from now on that you won't have any time to spare on this? That sucks... :sad2:

That looks lretty cool, reminds me kf the mars maps in the new DOOM. Love to see so many diferent ideas ove the same concept :idea2:

^ Not sure if you remember me mentioning a package that I wanted to use throughout my map in this contest (thus the whole dependencies talk afterwards)? It's from that package. :mrgreen:

There are a couple of things which took me a little while to figure out how they worked, and the skybox lenslare has a small bug in one of the functions in it which I fixed in my own map through extending the class and MyLevel'ing it.

I am using it for a lot of things in this map: the first one is rain (not very visible in these screenshots), the others are this lensflare, coronas (the yellow lights) and particles (the skybox uses some moving orange smoke oversized particles to make you feel you're actually in the middle of the clouds up there, although this is not really visible from these screenshots), and even the pipes and skulls are using the decoration class from that package as their base.
And they have a lot of performance settings to tweak, which took me longer to figure out than I would like to admit. :lol2:
