Hidden deep within the very cliffs of the Begorn mountains this ancient Nali templecomplex remained untouched by the foul presence of the Skaarj.
Now as the planet been overrun' by a greater demon, the vast rooms of the bath give place to a sport done by the pale-skinned-came-from-the-stars.
Once a haven of the Tori'Ni Nali tribe now it's the home of filth.

It's a custom map my friend Kajgue showed me, but I couldn't use it first, since he didn't remember the exact place he got it from, so I had to look for the original autho and ask him if I can use it. I did.

Seems like it would be too addicting and fun trying to get the lighting perfect, or look right, in there.

If you think about it, lighting is the ONLY factor that makes things look 3D on a flat screen.

It won't be this bright. :D I use zone lighting for geometry testin', that's why it looks so blank and flat and bright of course.
I'll add lights later on.

P.S: Do any of you guys have acces to Photoshop CC2015?
I lost my install, so I'm pretty much unable to make the Chaos inspired overran look. Dirty tiles, wastewater flowin' in the once-great bath...
WIP shots will come daily in the form of a new post. Those shots will be integrated to the first openin' post as well.

Have you thought about using trees/vegetation from chaostrees.u to make it more Chaos-like?

I tried not to use trees and plants but I can't force myself to not populate my maps with massive ammounts of vegetation.
So, the central pool in a very early stage. Note that there are no light sources placed.

Looking very interesting thus far, and yes, this map seems to go very well with a ton of vegetation laying around, which should not be a problem since it seems that the whole vegetation won't be all seen at once at any moment.
Since you didn't apply any lighting yet, is this map going to be at night time or day time?

Hmmm... hard to judge in that angle, but thus far it looks like a very interesting atmosphere going on there.
